Elise Arndt – Singer/Actor/Writer of a award winning one woman show
Performing:  She will sing “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” with Stephen Elkins on guitar.
Bio: Elise Arndt is a NYC-based actress (although born in California), graduated from American University with a BA in musical theatre. She starred in The D* Word (from the creator of Menopause the Musical), and was featured in Footloose (Seven Angels), Briar Rose and the 13th Fairy (NYC premier), and Love, New York (music by Rob Rokicki). She has done countless workshops, readings, and festivals in the New York and DC area, and is a resident co-host and special guest performer at La-Ti-Do, a premier cabaret series based in DC. Creative Influences: Billie Holiday to sara Barellis. “Always trying to expose myself to new artists and new things. I find so much inspiration in people who have an idea in their head and see it into its full creation.”

Caroline Alarcón Loor – Photographer Visual artist
Showing: Silver printed photos.
Bio: Whether it is landscape, macro photography, or portraits, Caroline wants every image to tell a story and bring out a sense of wonder and emotion to the viewer. With a degree in Studio/Visual arts, she chose Photography as her medium of expression and is happy to be working with the Sonic Creative team.
Creative Influences: “There are many artists that inspire me, but I have learned that what makes me want to express myself or take portraits, are emotions. I now celebrate all sort of feelings, from sadness to happiness, from inspiration to disillusion.”

Pete Arevalo / Mc2 / Golden Lotus – Spoken Word, Music Production
Performing: Spoken Word
Bio: Pete Mc2 Arevalo is one of the founding fathers of the Muse Exchange, Long Island’s longest running and most popular open mics. Be it hosting or poetry Pete delivers a performance filled with the power and veracity of a sermon. He has inspired and brought forth some of the best local talent the island has to offer. His first chapbook “The Edge of an Observable Universe” was released in 2016. Having his first child in 2017, he still continues to be a great source of passion to the poetry community of Long Island.

Mikaela Brandon + Friends – Dancers
Performing: An improv-based piece to a selected piece of music.
Bio: Mikaela Brandon is a senior at Fordham University, pursuing a BFA degree in dance at the Ailey School. She is originally from Warren, NJ. She loves music, art, books, and nature. And she loves observing and watching the world around me, as she reflects on and processes her own life. She loves moving with others and feeling the energy in the room shift from stagnant to creative. she is also a Karmi here at Sonic.
Creative Influences: nature, and those around us. Feed off of energy, especially that of each other. Love moving with one another in a spontaneous way, that forces us to stay aware and in tune with the changing environment. 

Darby Canessa – Dancer/Choreographer 
Performing: A duet with Pamela  and a solo work.
Bio: California native, Darby Canessa graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Modern Dance and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts. She has performed in works by Robert Battle, Doug Varone, Catherine Cabeen, Anthony Morigerato, Sabatino Verlezza, Jacqulyn Buglisi, Alice Gosti, and Jennifer Backhaus. She has shown her own work at Marymount Manhattan College and Triskelion Artsas well as the last two Sonic Creatives.
Creative Influences: Pina Bausch. “Need I say more? (If you haven’t watched the movie Pina, I highly recommend it). “

David Foster  – Comedian
Performing: Stand-up material, hopefully geared towards a holistic medicine perspective.
Bio: David Foster is a New York native, licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, practicing Chinese Medicine between Manhattan and the Bronx, specializing in neurological and psychological conditions. He earned his Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine from Pacific College in 2013 and presently apprentices in Advanced Clinical Practice under internationally renowned practitioner, Dr. Frank Butler. David holds a black belt in Shorin Ryu Karate and spent 15 years doing stand-up comedy, having appeared on HBO, MTV and Showtime. His passions include yoga, Qi Gong and old school hip hop, and he’s a regular contributing blogger for Elephant Journal.
Creative Influences: Richard Pryor and Nas.
Pamela Lyn – Dancer, Choreographer 

Performing: A contemporary duet with Darby Canessa
Bio: Pamela Lyn is a dance teacher & choreographer (predominantly ballet & contemporary), as well as a 200-RYT Yoga Instructor teaching group classes & privates. She also plays the singing bowls, writes & paints.
Creative Influences: Life & the universe influence me, truly so many talented artists that I am surrounded by & have been blessed to be introduced to along the way.

T.K. Nana / Company name is Open Sky Expeditions – Photographic Trip Designer and Tour Manager
Showing: I am showing three photos from various travels. 1) Gentoo Penguin in Neko Harbor, Antarctica. 2) Sunset Above the Arctic Circle in Ersfjordbotn, Norway. 3)  Paro Taktsang Monastery (a.k.a Tiger’s Nest) in Bhutan.
Bio: T.K. Nana trained as an actor, so naturally he became a waiter in NYC, then eventually found his way to the travel industry. After picking up a point-and-shoot on a trip to the Galapagos he fell in love with photography, specifically landscapes and wildlife. He taught myself to use a DSLR and hasn’t put it down since. He now designs and leads photographic trips all over the world and he is incredibly fortunate to constantly have fascinating subjects in front of his lens.
Creative Influences: “I’m influenced by the places I get to experience. They urge me to capture the way they make me feel, if I’m able. I’m often not!”

Travis Madison a.k.a Jack Nimble – Spoken word, Story teller, Singer/song writer, Rapper, Host, Zumba instructor
Performing: a mix of spoken word, story telling and maybe some music.
Bio: Travis Madison is performance artist local to Long island. He is one of the creative minds behind The Muse Exchange, a small and upcoming event/media company. Creating art is his passion be it through poetry, song or dance. His hands and mind are never idol.
Creative Influences: “Life influences me, I am inspired by the struggles and drive of everyday people. I pull heavily from my own experiences to raise questions and try to find answers. Everything inspires me.”


Mark McQueen – Singer/Songwriter, Musician, and Artist
Performing: beyond excited to be performing several songs from my brand new album You Had To Be There, online everywhere October 17!
Bio: Mark McQueen is pop music’s best kept secret. A veteran of the New York City club circuit, McQueen brings together glam rock glitter and grit, with a twist of lo-fi electronic flare. Two parts punk, one part spectacle, all parts cheese.
Creative Influences: Barbarella, staying ironically trendy, this horror instrumental playlist on Spotify,”you should totes check it out maintaining a continually thinning boundary of turning life into performance art at all times.”

Stefanie Raptis – Creative Director in branding
Showing: A mixed media piece
Bio: Creative Director with 20 years of experience in beauty branding and packaging. I also enjoy making things with my hands, getting dirty, cooking and playing with my kids.
Creative Influences: The ones who take the road less traveled.

Claire Sersun – Choreographer
Performing: Dance. Video. Bodies. An exploration of grief and communal support. With dancers: Tegan Hack and Kayla Ostrowski.
Bio: Claire is a dancer, choreographer, yoga instructor, photographer, writer and model based in New York City. She writes for Iridescent Women and is currently working on obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a concentration of Body, Science, and Motion from Marymount Manhattan College. Creative Influences: The choreographies of Martha Graham, Trisha Brown, Yvonne Rainer, Charm La’Donna, and Christy Curtis Buss. She’s also influenced by the life and rippling influence of her grandfather Dave Riley.

WILD MAGNOLIA – Bluegrass/Folk Band that plays traditional tunes, creates original music, and has a good time.
Performing: We’ll be playing a mix of original and traditional folk/ bluegrass tunes, including a few tunes from our upcoming EP.
Bio: Formed in 2016, WILD MAGNOLIA is an acoustic music collective that plays traditional and original Bluegrass, Folk, Jazz, and Americana music.  Our current and past members hail from Down South, Up North, Poland, and Japan, and our various musical backgrounds bring a fresh spin to traditional music. We are currently the house band at HandCraftNYC (Manhattan), have held a residency at The Bonnie (Astoria), and played at various events including Woodstock Poland in the Summer of 2017. www.wildmagnoliamusic.com
