“I have been a licensed massage therapist for six years. I attended the Swedish institute in Manhattan where I learn Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and shiatsu. We were introduced to a variety of modalities in both Eastern and Western medicine such as cranial sacral and reflexology. Immediately after graduating from the Swedish institute I began working at Bronx wellness acupuncture and massage where I am still employed. This helped me grow in many ways because I have the opportunity to work closely with acupuncturists, as well as having a diverse population of clients. Some of whom are chronically ill, to clients who just want relaxation.
“About 3 years ago I became active in cycling, swimming, and running once again, so I joined a triathlon team. Through this team I acquired many clients. Luckily, I learned about a room rental on 72nd St. and Amsterdam which was a very convenient place to begin seeing private clients. also around this time I was acquiring many running related injuries. I always say every time I got injured it made me a more apathetic and more skilled therapist. I not only had better techniques to help with certain injuries, but also I learned that sometimes symptoms were not coming from the location that they always seemed. In fall of 2016 I completed the training for a certificate in medical massage. My future aspiration is to get a certificate in sports massage one and two through the Swedish institute which will most likely happen next year.
“I feel like my strongest point as a massage therapist is how I integrate physical, mental, and emotional states into my massage. I don’t believe that any massage is only energetic or only physical. I believe they work best when they are combined.”

Normal pricing: $100 for a 60 minute massage, 135 for a 90 minute massage. Add $10 for deep tissue to any massage.
