Namaste Dear Teachers,
I hope you are enjoying the last days of summer and are growing excited to cross the threshold of the Equinox into the beauty of fall. I know for many the fall to winter transition can be challenging. The movement towards darkness can feel isolating and sometimes sad. But as you all know, the shadow or darkness is given to us as an opportunity to balance the light. Nature is our master teacher, and she is now asking us to shift our perspective.
These next 90 days as we move from the Autumnal Equinox towards the Winter solstice, we will be moving into shorter days, longer nights and deeper darkness. Why not choose to see this time as an invitation to go inward, to commit more deeply to your meditation practice and the journey of self-awareness.
I have truly grown to appreciate this time of year. I love that nature is giving us an invitation to slow down, to be still, to root and ground in our personal space and to explore our inner world.
Now is the time to recommit to your daily sadhana and reap the fruits of your practice.
I encourage you to take some time to honor this juncture, to welcome the darkness, to move towards the shadow so that you can discover, clear and release any obstacles to your most radiant light. It is in these times of self-introspection that our most powerful spiritual transformation is possible
Sending you all love and light,
Lauren
