Fall Equinox Message – Are You Ready for Guidance?

Fall Equinox Message ~ Are you ready for Guidance?

Welcome to September the month of  the Autumnal Equinox where we make the sacred shift from late summer into early fall. These divine junctures of the year, act as markers to prepare us to shift our lifestyle to adapt to each season so that we may find balance, health and happiness as the seasons change.

Is the Fall transition challenging for you? Are you yearning for support and guidance from a trusted source? Are you a Yogi who attends Yoga classes but has the desire to go deeper, curious about the ancient practices of Yoga that your teacher mentions, pranayama, meditation, sadhana, mantra, mudra, ayurveda? And wondering how they can help you to live a healthy, joyful, meaningful life? We got you!

Sonic is in the process of developing a curated Mentor program designed just for you.
SONIC GURU, launching later this month so keep your eyes peeled for our early sign up discounts. The idea is to re-align as the seasons change so that you can live in tune with the world around you.

When you are in harmony and balance with nature, you will feel healthy and happy in body, mind and spirit.
So how can you practice navigating these life transitions? My recommendation is to stay grounded in each moment. Which is much easier said than done. It’s so simple to stay centered when everything in life is going well. But this is often an illusion that is created by a certain arrangement of safe and predictable events. If you’ve lived long enough, you’ve had the experience where life “falls apart” and the pieces aren’t fitting together as well. This is certainly what is happening for most of us now during this time of instability and change.

Now more then ever it’s important that we:
• Find stability in unstable times.
• Practice staying in the present moment.
• Learn to relax and let go into uncertainty.
• To connect with the Universe daily and to trust
• Take refuge in the heart space, rather than the mind or external events.
• Learn to love ourselves so we can have unconditional support. Here are a few suggestions to keep you grounded in the NOW and to help you navigate the transition into the un-chartered territory of FALL.

Some of my favorite Practices to Stay in the Present Moment:

• Morning Gratitude Practice: Take some time each day to express your gratitude for the gifts you have been given.  Breathe into the feelings that come up and feel the pleasure of the blessings in this moment.

• Daily Morning Sadhana: Create a daily routine.  Start your day in a healthy manner. Connect to spirit, meditate, talk to the trees, gaze at the sunrise, watch the clouds.  Massage your body, or Reiki yourself, focus on your breath.  Light a candle or sage.  Create a ceremony.  Or sit at your altar in formal meditation. Choose a practice that feels right for you.

• Conscious Eating: Be mindful of what you put in your body.  Choose carefully.  Prepare your meal with love.  Don’t rush. Sit down and eat your meal without electronics.  Bless your meal and fill it with high vibration. Chew each bite carefully and slowly. Savor the tastes the healing properties of each flavor.

• Mindfulness Practice:  Be present during your daily tasks. Practice non-judgemental awareness.  Be in the unfolding of each moment.  Use the power of your 5 senses to stay present. See, hear, feel, taste and smell all the various sights, sounds, textures, sensations, flavors and scents.

• Practice Appreciation: As you move through your day take time to appreciate all that you have created in your life, everything that you have worked hard for.  Linger in the places that feel good. Breathe into them and receive the abundance.

• Connect to Your Inner Child:  Be curious about life, try not to take things for granted. Be aware of your privileges. Stay open to receive new information and to feel the immediate gifts of your place in life.

• Present Moment Awareness: Catch yourself when you are projecting thoughts into the future or back into the past. Try to be present in your thinking. Bring yourself back to the NOW.

Find the Extraordinary in the Ordinary:  As you move through your day, take a beginners mind towards all you experience. Look for what’s special, unique, or extraordinary in your everyday experiences when you take the time to connect more deeply.
