I believe strongly in the healing power of movement, and my teaching style is informed by years of dance training. As a dance teacher, I have taught in underserved communities in Mexico, Guatemala, and Colombia with JUNTOS Collective. I’m also certified in reformer Pilates through Studio Pilates International and previously taught at their Brooklyn location.
I came to yoga in college when I first began taking classes with friends. I fell in love with the way it informed my dancing and the strength and flexibility that came with the work. My practice quickly became a safe haven, as well as a place for self-discovery, and play. I always strive to create a fun environment that supports curiosity, risk-taking, and personal growth. Expect to be challenged and to move fluidly with your breath.
I’m on my way to a a 500 hour certification through SONICYOGA and a professional dancer based in New York City, holding a BFA in Dance from The Ailey School and Fordham University.
