I mean, it always is! But, there are times we feel that more than others. This is most certainly one of those times. Our dear Christopher Temple is beginning his separation from our schedule and this means something new will fill this considerable void. New is scary. It’s uncertain. But new is fresh, too. It’s stimulating. This is bound to change our perspective. That in turn will deepen our practice and strengthen our bond. It’s time to look forward then.
Some highlights for your consideration: Mikaela Brandon, Becca Light and Brooke Taylor are now on the schedule. They have outstanding ability and unique points of view. They’re each going to find a way to get this across to you in their teaching. Their climb will be steep, but they are equipped. Keep your eyes peeled for their names and give them a shot. I’ll probably be next to you on the mat!
Our most senior and revered teachers, Taquice Campbell and Jeffrey Duval, will pop up in unexpected places. Taq takes over Fridays at 10AM, which now brings her to you 3 times a week, in three very different spots, so more of us can benefit from her special genius. Jeffrey gets back to his rightful place starting off Saturday mornings with an advanced 75 minute practice. Jeffrey unbound. Sounds awesome, right? It will be.
Monica Shum follows that with a mid-morning class accessible to all, and then double Mitch — for double the fun — Saturday afternoons. All of this along with your favorite practices from Babette Godefroy, Nicole Schrage, Arthur Porter and Paul Wilder. I’ll always keep an eye out for more spots for these stars, so watch this space.
I’ll step into Sunday mornings and I am going to hold it down, I promise you that. And don’t forget, Chris Temple is still with us Thursday nights until mid-December. Sign up early, sign up often…
