Where has Yoga taken you?
Yoga has helped me find that balance between ‘sthira’ and ‘sukha’ – effort and ease. It has helped me notice when I am feeling out of balance, and how I can simply come back to the breath and find a place of stillness and peace within me once again. It has taught me that what’s important is how you react to life. We can choose to be grateful for all that is, taking every challenge as an opportunity to grow and to keep doing our best, moving away from acting in fear and choosing to act with love.

I am currently teaching yoga in a community center by my house, and I am happy that I can now share my practice and do my best to help others find that balance as well.

How did your teacher training influence your life?

The YTT helped me deepen my own personal practice and understanding of yoga philosophy, anatomy, Ayurveda, and so much more. I am able to integrate all these yoga tools that I now have into my life.
I also made many friends who share my love for Yoga. It was truly an amazing experience.

What was your first yoga class experience?

During the pandemic, I started working from home and I had so much more time for myself, so I started looking into yoga classes online. I found a couple’s yoga YouTube channel. I immediately loved it and started practicing with them every day until I decided it was time to deepen my practice and that is when I found Sonic’s YTT.
