Where has Yoga taken you?
Yoga has taken me to another level in many aspects of my life. First to be present, a mindful
connection to myself and to what is. It helps me to develop inner awareness, by focusing on the
body, breath and in my life what I do, which type of food I eat, how I communicate to others and how I respect myself and others and last but not least I am grateful for all these changes in my life.
At a physical level it improves strength, balance and flexibility, allowing my body to move more
easy and to have less tension not only in the body but in the mind, the practice of pranayama, either on the yoga practice, meditation or breath work provides me mental clarity, grounds me and calms the body and the mind.
How did your yoga teacher training influence your life?
It transformed my life. I see my life before and after my training as a totally different person. I
changed in many ways, I feel, observe and connect with myself, others and nature differently and all is because I am presence. A yoga teacher training provides me with an in-depth understanding of yoga philosophy and it also deepens my practice. I will always keep learning from my journey.
Now I am doing what I love to do and share the passion and the benefits of yoga with my
students.
What was your first yoga class experience?
I started the practice of yoga in 2017 by February on my 40th birthday. I was enjoying and
getting used to the practice. I was new in the city and I started to look for places where to do my teacher training, so there I was at Sonic Yoga where I signed up for my first class with Chris
Temple and WOW!!!! This was The Experience!!!!! It was an incredible class, his guidance and his passion for yoga resonates with me. The experience of practicing yoga with many people in
the room is also another experience, the energy in the room is transformed.
I am grateful for being one of the students of Sonic Yoga and grateful for all my mentors.
Namaste.
