Traditionally, we practice yoga in the morning.
There’s coffee, and then there’s mindful breathing, opening and energizing movements, twisting the trunk of the body to spark the digestive system into cleansing action and placing the body upside down to change your energy and your very perspective on anything and everything.
Sadhana, or a daily self practice that typically happens first thing in the morning, is hard. It takes discipline, knowledge and one must be accountable only to one’s self. It’s a worthy goal and potentially life changing.
This is the deeper reason beyond scheduling and convenience that a yoga studio will have morning offerings. Those practices, at or soon after that magical time when the day breaks, just hit differently. Your whole day will too, when it starts with yoga.
We are here to help!
Keep an eye out for subtle changes to our morning lineup to make things a little easier and clearer for you. Starting the week of January 23, our 730AM classes move to Tuesday/ Thursday, led by Nicole and Paul, while my 9AMs shift to Monday/ Wednesday with Taquice still wrapping the weekdays up with 10AM each Friday.
All of these are offered virtually and in studio, so you can start your day clear, focused, grounded and with that wry smile that only those who’ve committed to yoga as you have, will know.
